I collaborated with one of my favorite artists Brian McCarty on this limited edition Dumpster Fire photo print.
Brian McCarty is an accomplished photographer known for his distinct work with toys. His preferred approach is to integrate toy characters into real-life situations through the use of forced perspective, which I thought would be a perfect fit for the Lil Dumpster.
Brian created this adorable and ultra-timely image in December 2019 in the back alleys of Chinatown, Los Angeles.
Printed by Static Medium on Moab Lasal Exhibition Luster using archival inks.
Signed and numbered edition of 160.
Limit 1 per household.
More about the Photographer
Brian McCarty is a toy photographer and the founder / executive director of the nonprofit organization War Toys® – helping war-affected children through advocacy, expressive therapy, and toy design. Brian’s work has been exhibited by museums around the world, acquired by prominent collections, and covered by The Washington Post, Guardian, New York Times, CNN, Wired, Al-Jazeera, Reuters, Huffington Post, and countless other international publications. He’s seen his work used as a billboard in Times Square and stolen by ISIS for online propaganda. Brian understands how much toys shape and reflect our culture.
